On behalf of Perth & Kinross Council, it gives me great pleasure to welcome all competitors, officials, families and supporters to the 45th Perth Masters tournament in the City of Perth.
There is a great air of anticipation to this year’s event, being held for the first time since 2020. We are delighted to have 36 high-calibre teams join us for the first major curling championships of the year, including current Olympic Gold and Silver medalists, and European Gold and Bronze medalists.
A very special welcome to all teams joining us from the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, Sweden and Scotland!
Curling has always been a traditional Scottish winter sport and continues to be popular all over the world. We are all excited for a great weekend of curling ahead in Curling’s historical home of Perth and Kinross.
I would like to extend you all my best wishes and I wish all competitors every success – may the best team win!

Provost of Perth and Kinross
